Movies: Watched A Quiet Place: 2. John K has a very good eye/hand for this directing thang. Story is a bit derivative (Bird Box, Jurassic Park, Deep Blue Sea) but there’s a solid hero’s journey in there. This isn’t a scare fest. It’s a character study.

Reading: Nothing new. With school out my reading time is more limited. Guess I HAVE been binging on D&D stuff every once in a while but that doesn’t count. And Frederick Douglass’ “What, to a slave, is the 4th of July?” will get re-started in a week or so.

TV: Big Sky is on hiatus. Clarice has jumped the shark. Letterkenny is winding down. So we picked up on Critical Role – over 600 hours of a group of voice actors playing D&D. Been fun.

Music: Dragging Holst back onto my list. At least The Planets.
