Haven’t done any Poli Sci in a while

David Friedman’s blogpost More on Politics makes quite a few interesting points including this suggestion for an improved Representative Democracy: Each voter has a vote that he can assign to a representative of his choice. A representative with at least 300,000 votes can occupy a seat in congress, representatives with fewer can group up to qualify for a shared seat, details determined by mutual agreement. Each representative casts the number of votes assigned to him. Voters can change the assignment of their votes at any time

THE SECURITY STATE TURNS INWARD: “These are intelligence agencies rigging domestic elections just as they have done in so many foreign countries.”

I THOUGHT ONLY EXTREMISTS BELIEVED THERE WAS CHEATING: Voters see ‘cheating’ everywhere, 54% expect it in 2024 election. Maybe demanding that nobody talk about cheating wasn’t the most persuasive response.

Georgia says its election software is vulnerable but it can’t get around to fixing it until after the 2024 election
